Wisconsin author Doris Green will talk about her book Elsie's Story: Chasing a Family Mystery, a memoir about a decades-long obsession with, and quest to solve, a family mystery. Doris will share her long search for answers to the mysterious and unresolved death of her aunt Elsie in a northern Wisconsin tavern in 1960, and talk about finding and sharing your own family's story. Doris will also talk about the newly published 2nd edition of her book, Wisconsin Underground: A Guide to Caves, Mines and Tunnels.

Doris Green is a Wisconsin area writer, and a former communications specialist with the School of Human Ecology at the UW-Madison. She has also authored Explore Wisconsin Rivers (2008).
