Celebrate the Earth by working through the mindfulness practices offered us by Buddhist Monk Thich Nhat Hanh and use them to draw insights into your own daily meditations and poetry. This class will help you cultivate a practice of appreciation for the natural world and transform mindfulness into poetry. Instructed by Troy Hess, Yahara Writing Center. Space is limited. Registration required. Copies of Peace is Every Step and Peace is Every Breath  will be available for registrants to check-out at the Adult Information Desk for recommended (not required) reading beginning January 13th. *One title per person, you choose, which book!
