Quan Barry, the author of this year's Big Summer Read, We Ride Upon Sticks, will discuss the book and her life as a renowned writer. Born in Saigon and raised on Boston's north shore, Quan Barry is an award-winning novelist and poet. Her work has appeared in numerous publications, including The Kenyon Review, Ms. and The New Yorker. She is also a professor of English at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. A Q&A will conclude the program.
