Join us for Sun Prairie's first Repair Cafe on Tuesday, December 9th from 5pm-8pm in the Atrium of Sun Prairie's Public Library!
At the Repair Café, community members will gather to repair broken items, reduce waste, and share skills. Bring your small appliances, electronics, clothing, bicycles, or other household items that need a repair. Volunteer repairers will work with you to try to troubleshoot and repair them for free! Whether you bring something to fix or attend to learn & connect, the Repair Café is a celebration of community, creativity, and sustainability.
Please note:
- There is a limit of two broken items per attendee.
- Registering items for repair is encouraged, please click here to register an item.
- Repairs will be assigned on a first come first serve basis as attendees check-in and repairers become available.
- Repairs that cannot be completed during the event will not continue after the event.
- Repairs are not guaranteed, and all participants must sign a waiver.
- This is not a drop off event. Attendees should plan to stay with their item for the duration of the repair(s).
