Event Details

Madison author David Benjamin will be here to share his latest trio of books, all published under his brand new imprint Last Kid Books, and all packed with his typical style of humor and enlightenment. Mr. Benjamin will tell us about his two new novels, Summer of ’68 and Skulduggery in the Latin Quarter, as well as his latest collection of essays, Almost Killed by a Train of Thought.

David Benjamin has authored several previous books, including The Life and Times of the Last Kid Picked and A Sunday Kind of Love. He met his wife, noted artist/writer Junko Yoshida, while serving as editor of the English-language newspaper "Tokyo Journal". A native of Wisconsin, he now splits his time between Madison and the Latin Quarter of Paris. He used his first-hand knowledge of the Latin Quarter in writing Skulduggery in the Latin Quarter.
