Madison Poet Laureate: Angela Trudell Vasquez

Celebrate National Poetry Month and experience the power of poetry! Join us for a live reading with this year's Madison Poet Laureate, Angela Trudell Vasquez! Angela is the author of four poetry collections, The Force Your Face Carries, In Light, Always Light, Love in War Time, & My People Redux. She is also the founder of Art Night Books, which recently published Through This Door - Wisconsin in Poems, an anthology that includes all the Wisconsin poets laureate and poets across the state who build up the poetry community in their locales.
