Join us on Saturday, February 22 from 1:00 to 4:00 in the Community Room for a special Black History Month program about Black Women's Self-Care. This event will provide a valuable opportunity for the community to engage in meaningful discussions and activities focused on Black women’s health and well-being.
The tentative agenda is as follows:
1:00 PM - Welcome & Opening Remarks (with Trulymethisisme)
1:15 PM - Panel Discussion: "Self-Care as a Radical Act"
- Speakers: Trulymethisisme, Aissatou, Ms. Mizzier
2:00 PM - Musical Interlude
2:15 PM - Self-Care Workshop & Journaling Session
- Guided journaling prompts on healing, rest, and self-love
- Interactive discussion on self-care strategies
3:00 PM - Wellness Activities (participants choose)
- Meditation & Deep Breathing
- Chair Yoga & Stretching
- Aromatherapy & Relaxation
3:45 PM - Community Networking & Closing Reflection
