Gardening season is just around the corner, and the SPCGO wants to help you get ready with two great gardening presentations!
- Organic Techniques For Vegetable Growers in Small Spaces: Joe Muellenberg will discuss best practices for growing safely and productively in a community garden setting.
- Pollinators and Your Gardens: Mindy Habecker will explain how many of our pollinators such as bees and butterflies have been in decline for multiple reasons. 87% of all flowering plants depend on pollinators for their reproduction. This includes 35% of the world’s food crops. Come learn about what you can do in your gardens to help provide habitat and protect our local pollinators.
