Urban SUN: Black Voices Book Club is a monthly book club (since September 2020) devoted to creating meaningful conversations about race by exploring works of contemporary and historical African-American authors. Discussions are led by Sun Prairie residents, Donna Mackey and Marilyn Ruffin. Get ready to get uncomfortable and get real!

This month's selection is the film Daughters of the Dust. Copies of the DVD are available at the library's Information Desk for those who register, and the film is also available to stream online through Kanopy, which Sun Prairie Library cardholders have access to.

A free screening of the film will be held at the library on Sunday, March 17, at 2:00pm. For more information about the screening, please click here.
